Wasn’t this Brasil team supposed to be the best of them all?I guess México’s performance doesn’t look as bad as Brasil’s three shots on goal dandy that we witnessed last Saturday. At least México’s fans are men enough to allow other losers mourn for a couple of days before starting to talk shit. I would rather fall short as it was expected and live in a world of underachievement than have to swallow my pride every time my team fails to reach the semi-finals in European soil. Some people might say that that was a shocker, but I actually had Pinga-drinking boys losing in the second round to Italy, but Ghana didn’t win their group and Italy did. All my predictions would have gone right if México would have beaten Portugal and Ghana had won their group, because I can guarantee you that the Jogo Bonito can only pound on small and defense-less teams and it gets destroyed against well directed midfields that are complemented by a strong defense. I would rather have Zidane, Makelele and Henry instead Ronaldinho, Emerson and Ronaldo any day of the week. I still hope that Italy losses to France because of the robbery that Australia underwent.
